My personal mission in life is to go and make disciples within the context of relationships and through the process of education.  I am passionate about growing people and helping them understand the importance of emotional  Intelligence and their strengths. I seek to grow people daily by asking God to bring people into my path so that I can make a difference.  I aspire to please God’s purpose and plan in my life by helping others grow. I see myself helping individuals grow by developing their emotional intelligence and through developing their strengths, specifically Clinton’s Strengths Finder.

God’s heart is for you to be FREE to be who He created you to be. He wants you to have a clear understanding of your identity and direction, so you can step out in faith and complete the assignments He has entrusted to you. It's my honor to walk alongside you during this journey.

My Personal Leadership Model: Leadership has no “finish line.” We are all on a lifelong leadership journey, and every person’s journey is unique to them. Co-Active is a contextual lens to experience this journey from different orientations.

As the pace of our lives has quickened, we have become increasingly action-oriented and results-driven. It seems expedient to dispense with all the “soft” stuff (being) and instead just push to “get the job done” (doing). Unfortunately, this leaves us feeling disconnected and desperate for meaning and belonging. We wind up with what we might call “the hamster wheel” experience of life, as we run around alone in circles, desperately trying to get things done, only to find ourselves right back where we started. This is why it is so important to begin with the “Co.” Action arising from this place of being and receptivity is whole and integrated, rather than disconnected and driven. In order for us to experience life as whole, action must be grounded in being, in our sense of connection to a larger wholeness. When the Co and the Active go together, the action of our life is nourishing and fulfilling.

Philosophy: I am oftentimes reminded of the ancient Proverb which reads “Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” I remember a particular scene when, as a child where I lean forward from the back seat of the car,  and asked my father why all the cars were passing us as we traveled down the highway. I recall saying to him: “When I get older, no one will ever pass me on the road.  I will be ahead of everyone.”  From the moment I can first remember, I have always been determined to be ahead everyone. My determination to be ahead has given me many rewards in life but has also caused me great heartache.  Through life’s lessons, I have learned how to harness my fortitude, my determination, and my drive.  The most important insight that I have learned is to turn this talent over to Jesus and let Him lead.  We have relationships with so many people in our lives. People with whom we work, pray and play. And most importantly, those with whom we share history -- namely, our family and friends. In our relationships we have deep yearnings to connect in a meaningful way. We want to share our life, our dreams and our plans. We want to be seen, heard and understood. Our communications skills help create the meaningful relationships each of us desires so deeply.
